Absolutely! There are a few myths when it comes to sleep training and breastfeeding. The first is that your milk supply will diminish. The second is that the bond between you and your baby will lessen or be broken. The third is that you can’t feed on demand. I can assure you that not one of these statements are true. Healthy sleep habits and breastfeeding can co-exist… let me teach you how!

Never! You will be right there to support your child on this journey as they learn new sleep habits. I will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone, nor will I ask you to ignore their cries. When working with me, we will develop a plan that will minimize crying and one that you are comfortable with following.

Crying is your child’s way of protesting change. People tend to like things the same way every night with no surprises–this is true for children as well. Since there will be some change involved, it will likely be met with some protest. I like to compare sleep training to learning how to ride a bicycle. As a parent, you can’t learn how to ride the bike for your child, they have to do it themselves, but you can support and assist them until they learn how to do it all on their own.

We will review a questionnaire that you will fill out prior to the consultation so that I can get a good understanding of your child’s current sleep habits, lifestyle, and personality, as well as your parenting style and family’s needs. Then we will discuss all things sleep, including the easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan that I will customize based on the information I gather. This will allow us to determine the best approach for your child. During the consultation, I will answer any questions or concerns you may have. Additionally, I will guide and teach you all of the best ways to prepare and handle your sleep training journey.

Each baby and child are different. Babies typically adjust well after two weeks. Toddlers and older children tend to take at least 3 weeks, sometimes longer. This is why the toddler package offers three weeks of support. It is important to remember that healthy sleep habits take time and a child’s sleep changes all the time. That is why I also focus on education, so that you will know what to expect and how to respond, not only while we work together, but for the future as well. We don’t say goodbye until your child’s sleep is on the right track.

My packages range from newborn to 8 years old.

Of course! I work with clients worldwide. We can communicate via email, phone, Zoom, or any other way that is easiest for you.
